  Ukrainian film classics in the Lumière cinema
From June 15 to 18, the Slovak Film Institute presents a glimpse at the Ukrainian film treasures.

  Slovak films awarded at Finale Plzen 2015
For the second time, the competition sections of Finale Plzen were opened for Slovak films to participate in the Festival´s four official competitions and scored two of the main Golden Kingfisher awards. Wave vs Shore by Martin Strba was awarded the Best Documentary and Secret Lives by Ján Sebechlebský announced the best TV series.
  Koza awarded at 15th goEast Wiesbaden
Feature debut Koza by Ivan Ostrochovský collected two further awards from the Competition for Fiction Features and Documentaries at the 15th goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film in Wiesbaden, Germany.
  Future Frames in Karlovy Vary with Slovak Participation
FUTURE FRAMES: Ten new filmmakers to follow is a new programme by the European Film Promotion and Karlovy Vary IFF to be introduced at the 50th anniversary edition of the festival (July 3 – 11, 2015). Slovak young talents will be represented by Maretina Buchelová with her film Green Line.
  Children received three Tiantan awards in Beijing
Children, fiction debut by the renowned Slovak documentary filmmaker Jaro Vojtek received three of ten Tiantan Awards at 5th Beijing IFF.
  The Slovak Producer on the Move 2015 is Marek Urban
This year during the Cannes IFF, Slovakia will be represented in the Producers on the Move (organized by European Film Promotion, Slovak Film Institute being a member), as well: the Slovak "POM" is Marek Urban (sentimentalfilm).
