The winners of The Sun in a Net 2022

The Slovak Film and Television Academy (SFTA) granted the Slovak national film awards The Sun in a Net 2021 – 2022 on Saturday, April 9. 107 Mothers (d. Peter Kerekes) and The Man with Hare Ears (d. Martin Šulík) took home four awards each with 107 Mothers being named the Best Fiction Film.

Best Documentary Film award went to Paradise on Earth (d. Jaro Vojtek) while the Best Animation award went to Once There Was a See… (d. Joanna Kożuch).

Ivan Ostrochovský’s Servants took home three awards while Lines (d. Barbora Sliepková) and The Auschwitz Report (d. Peter Bebjak) ended up with one award each. The Audience Award went to Zuzana Marianková‘s Perfect Strangers.

Jelena Paštéková and Emília Vášáryová were awarded for the outstanding contribution to Slovak cinema.
