The story of the Košice Peace Marathon is part of the bigger history of a small town in Central Europe, Košice. It is a tale of a marathon, and marathon runners, about ordinary people who run, run for pleasure, run for freedom, run to escape a disaster. People who run to cross the space and be faster than history. One hundred years of Košice marathon and hundred years of turbulent historical events across Europe framed by individual personal stories.

Košický maratón rozpráva príbeh o dejinách malého mesta v strednej Európe, o maratóne, maratóncoch, ale aj obyčajných ľuďoch, ktorí bežia za slobodou alebo utekajú pred pohromou. Utekajú, aby rýchlejšie preklenuli priestor a predbehli čas. Príbehy jednotlivcov sa zlievajú do storočného obrazu dejín Košíc a strednej Európy, rámcovaného Medzinárodným maratónom mieru.
