Story of the parents of an accursed solider told from the perspective of their 17-year old grandson Janek. “Odrowąż” dies in 1946, the Department of Security digs up his body four times to make sure that this enemy of the state is well and truly dead. The mother can’t bear the humiliation, she steals the coffin with the body, forces her husband to travel to Pacławska Calvary to bury her son once again. The journey is full of dramatic events.

Príbeh rodičov prekliateho vojaka rozprávaný ich sedemnásťročným vnukom Janekom. „Odrowąża“ zabili v roku 1946. Štátna bezpečnosť ho štyrikrát vyhrabala z hrobu, aby sa uistila, že je „nepriateľ ľudu“ mŕtvy. Vojakova matka neznesie to poníženie, ukradne rakvu s telom svojho syna a prinúti manžela, aby sa spoločne vydali na cestu na Paclawskú Kalváriu a syna opäť pochovali. Cesta je plná dramatických udalostí.
