  Generation Kplus: Suzie in the Garden
Short animation film Suzie in the Garden (2022) by Lucie Sunková will have its world premiere at 72nd Berlinale, in the Generation Kplus.
  Berlinale Co-Production Market: The Spring
Ivan Ostrochovský's new upcoming film The Spring will be presented at the Berlinale Co-Production Market.
  Berlinale Talents: Michal Blaško
Berlinale Talents is a development programme for emerging filmmakers and drama series creators that stands for sustainable promotion and Exchange amongst different disciplines of the film industry. This year, Slovakia is represented by Michal Blaško.
  Emerging Producers 2022: Silvia Panáková
Emerging Producers is a promotional and educational project of the Ji.hlava IDFF, which brings together talented European documentary film producers. Since 2017, following the success of the previous five editions, the programme was extended with an additional four-day meeting in Berlin and producers’ presentation during Berlinale. Slovak Emerging Producer 2022 is Silvia Panáková.
  EFM Screenings 2022
Market screenings schedule includes Peter Kerekes' award-winning 107 Mothers, Jan Prušinovský's drama Emma in Love, and two upcoming films: Piargy by Ivo Trajkov and How I Learned to Fly by Radivoje Adrić.

This year, Slovakia will be present at the European Film Market for the 17th time. Together with friends and colleagues from the Czech Republic and Slovenia, under the umbrella of the Central European Cinema, The Slovak Film Institute offers an informational and promotional point for Slovak cinema.

The Slovak Film Institute team is ready and happy to meet you at the virtual Central European Cinema stand. We will present recent Slovak films and co-productions, as well as treasures from the National Film Archive. The new edition of the catalogues Slovak Films 2021 (including the Slovak Film Guide) and New & Upcoming Slovak Films 2022 will be also available, providing up-to-date information about recent Slovak cinema.

Presentation of Slovak cinema and audiovisual industry at the European Film Market is organized by: Slovak Film Institute, with financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, and Slovak Film Commission, organizational unit of Slovak Audiovisual Fund, in partnership with Slovak Institute in Berlin.
