What’s Slovak at IDFA 2022

Prestigious Amsterdam documentary film festival IDFA (9 – 20 November 2022) will present one Slovak film in this year’s program and there is even more Slovak participants at the industry events.

Igor Ivanko’s feature debut Fragile Memory was selected for Best of Fests section dedicated to the most interesting films of the year that went through the festival circuit.

The film will also be looking for new distribution and festival partners at Docs for Sales market – together with another two Slovak films: Kapr Code by Lucie Králová and The Cathedral by Denis Dobrovoda.

Dobrovoda was also selected for IDFAcademy, an educational and networking platform for up and coming directors and producers. The second Slovak participant at the program is Michaela Kaliská. The Slovak Film Institute is a partner of IDFAcademy.
