Two slovak feature debuts at the Film Indian Summer competition

On Wednesday, October 9, the 21st showcase of czech, polish and slovak films starts in czech Hrčava and will last until October 13. Two slovak feature debuts, Mátyás Prikler`s Fine, thanks (2013),also presented to the audience at IFF Rotterdam 2013, and Juraj Lehotský`s Miracle (2013) recently premiered in the slovak cinemas, will take a part in competition for the Golden Debut Award.  
The Last Season Hits section will present six slovak films and films in slovak cooproduction:
Mira Fornay`s My Dog Killer (2013) awarded by Hivos Tiger in IFF Rotterdam, Mariana Čengel Solčanská`s drama Love me or Leave me (2013) and low budget horror movie Evil (2012) of director Peter Bebjak will be seen on the festival screens.
The audience will be able to watch also Slovak co-production film Honeymoon (2013) of Jan Hřebejk, who has recieved the award for the best direction at IFF Karlove Vary, Zdeněk Tyc`s Like Never Before (2013) and Aftermath (2013) of Wladislaw Pasikowski.
Jury consists of seven members, who will vote and decide about the winner after all. Slovakia is represented by Ondrej Šulaj, a president of Slovak Film and Television Academy (SFTA) and Peter Dubecký, a general manager of Slovak Film Institute (SFÚ).
