Slovak films receiving Czech Lions

The results of the Czech national film award Czech Lion are announced - they were granted during the Gala Ceremony in Lucerna, Prague on March 3, 2012.

The debut The House  by Zuzana Liová was nominated in two categories and received the award in one: the Czech Lion for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role went to the Czech actress Taťjana Medvecká.

Out of the eight nominations of the debut Alois Nebel by Tomáš Luňák, three became a Czech Lion award: the film was awarded for the Best Sound (Viktor Ekrt, Ondřej Ježek), Best Music (Petr Kružík, Ondřej Ježek) and Best Art Direction (Jaromír 99, Henrich Boraros, Noro Držiak). The film also received the Best Poster award (Robert V. Novák) in February, during the Nomination Gala Evening.

The Award of the Film Portal Kinobox.cz went to Lidice (r. Petr Nikolaev).
