Pandas are not yet done with Awards!

Matúš Vizár and his team recieved yet another award for the animation film Pandas (2013) - they recieved the Grand Prix for the Best Short Animation Film at Melbourne IFF 2013, Australia. The film now meets the criteria of the Academy Awards and prosumably could apply for an Oscar nomination.

After the great success at the Croisette, where the film recieved the 3rd prize ex-aequo in the Cinéfondation section at Cannes IFF in May earlier this year, and also recieved awards in Annecy, at Anifilm, Fest Anča and Guanajuato IFF, this is already the sixth award for the succesfull title. Pandas were developed in Vizar`s alma mater - FAMU in Prague. Film`s major producer is the Slovak company BFILM.

In the very near future it will be presented to audiences at Anibare Internation Animation Festival 2013 in Kosovo, Fresh Film Fest in Czech Republic and at the Fantoche festival in Baden, Switzerland.
