For the sixth time, Slovakia will be represented at the Marché du Film, the fourth time with Czech Republic. The pavilion No. 103 will be available for film professionals interested in Slovak audiovision, but also it will be is a platform for meetings of Slovak film professionals.
Launched in 2004, the Producers Network hosts around 550 producers from all over the world in a series of meetings created to stimulate international coproduction. The Slovak participant this year is the company Trigon Production.
ScripTeast is a year-long program for experienced scriptwriters in Central and Eastern Europe consisting of 3 stationary and 2 online sessions, focusing not only on developing but also promoting the scripts. In Cannes the final results of its 2010 edition will be announced.
The European Producers Club (EPC) yearly organizes four Co-production Forums aimed at offering producers developing a project the possibility to meet a wide range of film professionals based on their project's needs. The Co-production Forum at the IFF Cannes on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 14:00 to 17:00, will also include a Slovak participant.
The Slovak participant of the NISI MASA – European Network of Young Cinema - is the International Festival of Short Films Early Melons; two festival organizers co-operate on the Nisimazine Cannes 2011 workshop, hosting participants from Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Estonia: journalists, photographers and video bloggers.
Slovak actresses to star in the closing film of Cannes IFF

Slovak actresses Zuzana Kronerová and Zuzana Onufráková star along Catherine Deneuve, Ludivine Sagnier, Miloš Forman in the closing film of the 64th Cannes IFF. Les Bien-aimés by Christophe Honoré co-produced by Czech Republic takes place in Prague during 1960s. The film tells the love stories of Madeleine and her daughter Vera, during different periods of time.
Les Bien-aimés is Honoré's second film at Cannes IFF.
