Two Slovak films awarded abroad

Slovak films continue with their success abroad, where they were awarded with two prizes.

Very succesful film Nicky´s family, directed by Matej Mináč, won the prize for Best using archives in a film. It was awarded by The International Federation of Television Archives. Sir Nicholas Winton, main character of the document, also attended the ceremony, which was taken in London. Film Nicky´s family has won several prizes, one of them being the Audience Award from Karlovy Vary.

Another winning film is a movie directed by Zuzana Liová, The House. It was awarded by The Special Jury Mention at 4th edition of the Kosovian festival PriFilmFest. The House previously won prizes in Palm Springs and Treste and in Prishtina it  also appeared in the main competition of the festival.
