This year, Slovakia will be represented in the Producers on the Move (organized by European Film Promotion), as well: the Slovak "POM" is Mátyás Prikler, scriptwriter, director and producer at his company MPhilms, following in the footsteps of the previous Slovak "POMs": Mira Fornay (MIRAFOX), Michal Kollár (Sokol Kollar), Silvia Panáková (ARINA), Marko kop (Artileria), Peter Kerekes (Peter Kerekes) and Marek Veselický (Farbyka).
| MÁTYÁS PRIKLER (*1982) | Graduated in film directing from the Academy of Performing Arts. Between 2005 and 2006, he studied at the Hungarian Film Academy in Budapest. His first feature-length movie Fine, Thanks, debut as both director and producer, premiered at Rotterdam IFF in 2013. His company MPhilms Ltd. produced the feature film Slovakia 2.0 which consists of 10 short films directed by 10 Slovak directors. In addition, he is the producer of the film Children by Jaro Vojtek and the co-producer of the film Mirage by Szabolcs Hajdu. | |
