Matchmaking Mayor receiving an award in Berlin

One of the two Slovak co-productions, presented at the Forum section of the 61st Berlinale - Matchmaking Mayor by Erika Hníková, received the Tagesspiegel Readers' Award on Saturday, February 19, 2011.

Matchmaking Mayor had its world premiere at the International Festival of Documentary Films in Jihlava, Czech Republic, having the international premiere at Forum. During its presentation it was very positively received by the press, having reviews in the The Hollywood Reporter, Screen Daily and Variety.

Besides Matchmaking Mayor, the Slovak co-production The House by Zuzana Liová was also presented at the Forum section, receiving very positive reviews in The Hollywood Reporter, Screen Daily, Variety and others.
