The 26 part TV cycle dedicated to the Czechoslovak New Wave directors and films – The Golden Sixties and the two part full-length documentary 25 from the Sixties or The Czechoslovak New Wave, based on the TV series, both directed by Martin Šulík, were successfully presented both at festivals and in television in the previous years. This year, both the 26 part TV cycle and the fulllength, two part, documentary are released on a DVDs.

As an accompanying event of the 46th Karlovy Vary IFF, the films will be presented July 1 – 9, 2011, from 10:00 to 19:00 at the Gallery of Arts Karlovy Vary, Goethova stezka 6, 1st floor. The DVD set will be available for purchase. There will also be an exhibition of the original Slovak and Czech posters to the films of the sixties installed at the place of the screening.

The presentation ceremony will take place on July 4, 2011 at 10:00 in the Gallery of Arts.
