Film „POWER“ is a political thriller with psychological insight, done in the best fashion of art house movies. Through the story of a mortal accident involving highlevel politician and following efforts to investigate it, respectively to hush it up, the film reveals the machinery of political power and its self-preservation, but also asks questions about the real identity of political figures, the stories behind their public faces.

Don’t we deserve the hell we live in for how we are living?
SINGING HOUSE is a tragicomic local attraction of the town Štúrovo. In quiet residential area of this sleepy town on Slovak-Hungarian border one can hear opera arias with whistling kilohertz played via loudspeakers from one of the houses. Its owner – Eva N. – does it over and over again for fourteen year already, 365 days a year, without a break. The timer switches the scratchy music on at 6:00 am and off at 10 pm. The volume is on the maximum permitted capacity (60 dB), so the owner cannot be penalized. The strange, socialist-period-style house is monitored by CCTV, searchlights and motion detectors.
Originally a trivial neighborhood squabble, it has grown over the years into monstrous forms of social terrorism, which is comically done within the law.
Singing house is a bizarre home attraction, a metaphor that embodies its mysterious female inhabitant, Eva N. To find out who she is, the document puts together the kaleidoscope of the stories of people who live nearby.

The story of a child’s adventure. It’s a story of children who feel safer in the streets than at home, about children seeking out sturdy lifeboats that cross between the world of fantasy and the harsh reality of life. Jarka is one of these children. Ten years-old, and living with a mother who is not yet ready to be a Mum, Jarka spends most of her time alone. Impelled by her desire for love and to form a fully functional family, she finds herself substituting as a “mother” to two babies.
