| Year 1992. Homicide detective, 32- year-old Richard Krauz, is desperate to distunguish himself from the police of previous regime. During grounds keeping at an old cemetery a corpse with a nail driven through its skull was disinterred. The body belongs to a church clerk. Detectives soon reveal he was tortured and murdered by former Secret Police (ŠTB), the executioner being The Red Captain, a notoriously brutal "expert on final interrogations". Far from solving the case, Krauz finds himself mixed up in something that involves not only the highest levels of the former ŠTB but also the Catholic Church. Based on the novel by the Slovak best-selling author Dominik Dán. |

MICHAL KOLLÁR |
Producer, director and writer. Has been active in commercial and TV production. Established the production house Sokol Kollar and co-founded the Czech production company Fog’n’Desire Films. In 2007, he produced his first feature, The Catfish Summer, which he also co-wrote and directed. In 2011, Michal produced the very successful feature debut The House by Zuzana Liová. He is in pre-production of the Czech-Slovak-Finnish-Luxembourg co-production Clownwise as well as the Finnish-Czech-Norwegian co-production August Fools. |

ANNA FIFIKOVÁ |
Graduated in scriptwriting and script editing. She has been working as a festival co-ordinator, a television copywriter and a creative producer. Anna has written a number of scripts, e.g. Control (based on a play by N. Gogol Government Inspector) and Project Alpha (based on a novel by R. L. Stevenson Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde). She is developing projects for television and is a creative producer of various television shows. |
