What is Slovak at IFF Warsaw 2008?

Slovakia is having two films in the international comeptition progammes of 24. Warsaw IFF (Oct 10 - 19).

Juraj Nvota's feature film Muzika / Music , which received 9 national awards "Slnko sieti" / "The Sun in a Net" this year, will be presented in the Int. Competition of First and Second Feature Films,  short animated film About Socks and Love / O ponožkách a láske by VSMU student Michaela Čopíková will compete in the Intern. competition of shorts. 

Muzika / Music will participate at CentEast Market as well, along with another Slovak project - The Border by Jaroslav Vojtek.

Ms. Strelková, director of National Cinematographic Center, will be a member of the Jury of the International Competitition of First and Second Feature Films.

Ondrej Starinský, young Slovak film critic, is taking part at the special workshop - FIPRESCI Warsaw Projekt and will be one of the Festival Daily editors.
