The Last Bus awarded in Clermont-Ferrand

The 34th edition of the prestigious International Short Film Festival (27. 1. - 4. 2. 2012) awarded the Slovak film The Last Bus by Martin Snopek and Ivana Laučíková.

The film received the Prix de la Jeunesse Award, given by the Youth Jury and oficially covered by the Youth, Sports and Social Affairs Office in Auvergne together with the National Social Justice and Equality of Chances Agency. The young jury members emphsized that the film touched them deeply and iniciated a discussion about human relations.

The awarded The Last Bus tells a dark story about forrest animals, running away from the open season in a small bus. The film features actors in animal masks, shot with digital photocameras with a pixilation technology. The film premiered in June 2011 within the Copmetition of Shorts Films at the Art Film Fest IFF and in December received the Grand Prix Maestro at the Animateka festival in Ljubljana
