Slovak full-length and short films at the at the 39th edition of Summer Film School in Uherské Hradište
The 39th edition of the Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic starts July 26 and will last until August 3.
Traditionally, the Slovak titles will appear in the programme and get honour during the Slovak day on Tuesday July 30, 2013.
The great personality of slovak film, screenwriter and director Dušan Hanák will present his movie 322 and I love, you love. The works by this filmmaker, who celebrated his 75th birthday this April, were sent to the proverbial“safe” by communist censors; they got to the audiences with difficulties, often many years after being made. Dušan Hanák is also the official festival guest.
The filmakers Mira Fornay (My dog, Killer), Matyas Prikler (Fine, thanks) and Juraj Lehotský with his DOP Noro Hudec (Miracle) will personaly present their movies as well.
During the Slovak day is going to be work the merchandising of slovak publications and DVDs with introduction of 2 DVD – 6 X DEŽO URSINY, 3x Peter Solan či Miracle (Juraj Lehotský) included.
