Slovak films in Dubrovnik

The 7th edition of the LI-BER-TAS Film Forum will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia during April 11 - 17, 2011. The festival focuses on independent productions, it presents the significant new films of world cinema and also each year it presents one national cinematography.  This year it is Slovakia.

The Slovak cinema will be represented by the documentary Blind Loves (2008) by Juraj Lehotský and the fictions films Soul at Peace (2009) by Vladimír Balko and Foxes (2009) by Mira Fornay, which will be presented the director personally. The feature documentary by Jaroslav Vojtek The Border (2009), as a national nominee for the Academy Award - Oscar will be competing in the Compention of European National Nominees.

The Slovak partner of the 7th LI-BER-TAS Film Forum is the Slovak Film Institute, with the support of  The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Zagreb and the Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Split.
