Slovak fairy tales released on DVD

After the DVD collections of Slovak films of the 60s, 70s and 80s, the Slovak Film Institute in co-operation with the publishing housePetit Press will release a collection of Slovak fairy tales titled "The Golden collection of the Slovak fairy tales" offering five significant fairy tales on DVD.

Five films – Lady Winter (dir. J. Jakubisko, 1985), Salt More Than Gold (dir. M. Hollý, 1982), Mahuliena, the Golden Maiden (dir. M. Luther, 1986), King Blackbird (dir. M. Luther, 1984) a Freckled Max and the Ghosts (dir. J. Jakubisko, 1987) will be gradually released in weekly intervals from October 29, 2010 as a part of the SME daily.

All DVDs will include bonuses, the directors' profiles, a photo gallery and a card game with photo stills from the films. The subtitles and menu will be in both Slovak and English version. A gift set with all the DVDs will also be available. 

The DVDs will be availabe in news stands, onwww.petitshop.sme.sk, in the Petit Press publishing house or in the Slovak Film Institute storeKlapka.sk pn Grösslingova str. no. 43. One DVD costs 5 €.
