Short animation films for children in Turkey

The travelling International film Festival on Wheels offers not only the best of Turkish cinema in the last year, but also an international competition of feature films, retrospectives and presents short films, as well. During the 16th the festival will show short archive animation films of significat Slovak animators - Viktor Kubal, František Jurišič and Vladimír Malík. The festival will take place during December 3 - 19, 2010 in Ankara, Artvin and Ordu, Turkey.

The programme dedicated to Slovak archive animation shorts will consist of the films:

Two Good Friends (r. Viktor Kubal)
Cock-A-Doodle-Do (r. František Jurišič)
Wise Little Pig (r. František Jurišič)
Dita in the Air (r. Viktor Kubal)
Baby in the Bank (r. Vladimír Malík)
Janko Hraško (r. Viktor Kubal)

The Festival on Wheels is organized by the Ankara Cinema Association in association with the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, the Governorship of Artvin, the Municipality of Artvin and the Governorship of Ordu. The Slovak programme was co-organized by the Slovak Film Institute and by the Slovak Embassy in Ankara.
