Russian Film Days coming to the Lumière Cinema

Russian Film Days will take part at the Lumière Cinema from 1st to 7th June.

Seven day long showcase - held on the occasion of the end of World War II - brings a selection of seven contemporary Russian fiction films. Visitors will be able to watch films: Unit (r. K. Belevič), Star (r. A. Melikian), Weekend (r. S. Govoruchin), White Nights of Postman Alexej Triapicyn (r. A. Končalovskij), Battalion (r. D. Meschiev), Kitchien in Paris (r. D. Diačenko) and Sinner (r. D. Konstantinov).

The opening film Unit will be personally presented by director Kirill Belevič and actor Ilja Korobko. Director of film Star Anna Melikian accompanied by actress Tiny Dalakišvili, producer of film Weekend Leonella Ebel and director of Film Company NOY Grigorij Gevorkian will be also attending Russian Film Days.

The event is organized upon the intergovernmental cultural agreements between the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The organizers are: Film Company NOY, Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Russian Center for Science and Cultrue in Bratislava and Slovak Film Institut.
