Presentation of New Slovak Films
Dec 4, 2008, Palace Cinemas (Cinema 2). Aupark, Bratislava, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
"This is the fourth time that the accompanying events of the Bratislava IFF will also include the Presentation of Slovak and Co-Production Feature Films, Documentaries and Animation Projects. This year the Slovak Film and Television Academy also joined the traditional hosts of the event – the Slovak Film Institute (SFI), Media Desk Slovakia and Bratislava IFF. We hope the interest of producers, filmmakers, distributors and the media in this event will continue to increase along with the success of the producers of the presented projects. And we say this especially since out of the 47 projects presented last year, only eight have been finished so far Bathory, Bhutan – In Search of Happiness, Cinka Panna, The Last Caravan, Blind Loves – working title Look into the Dark, Smog, Clothes for Her, and Tobruk], and one [The Rock of Shelter] is due to be finished by the end of 2008. The Presentation introduces films that are to be released in theaters within the next two years (2009 – 2010)." (quotation Miro Ulman, SFI)
Regular part of the presentation is the release of the brochure New Slovak Films 09-10. Even just a quick peek into the pages of the brochure shows that there is a lot to look forward to... .
The pdf version of the brochure is available here.
