Slovak Documentary and Animation will be seen at BFI London
The 57th edition of BFI London will take place and will offer internationally recognized films from all over the world Slovakia included.
The Dare section dedicated to films "that take you out of your comfort zone" will present slovak sensitive and humorous documentary Exibits and Stories from the Castle placed in Slovak town of Stupava. Stories of people who have lost everything but their zest for living are directed by Palo Korec.
This year Matúš Vizár`s hit Pandas (2013) will be also presented to the audience at London film festival as a part of section Laugh in The Best Medicine subsection. This short animated film recieved awards at most prestigous film festivals such as 3-rd prize ex-aequo in the Cinéfondation section at Cannes IFF in May, Grand Prix for the Best Short Animation Film at Melbourne IFF 2013, in Annency and at the others as Anifilm, Fest Anča or Guanaujato IFF.
