Slovak films at the 12. European Union Film Festival in Chicago

For over 30 years, the Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has presented world-class independent, international, and classic cinema. Renamed in honor of the late film critic in 2000, the Gene Siskel Film Center presents approximately 1,500 screenings and 100 guest artist appearances a year to over 65,000 film enthusiasts at its modern facilities which have been operating since June 2001 at 164 N. State St.
The Gene Siskel Center is the organiser of the European Union Film Festival, which will be held March 6 – April 2, 2009 for the 12th time. Slovakia will be represented by films Music (dir. Juraj Nvota, 2008) and Blind Loves (dir. Juraj Lehotský, 2008).
