Cooking History distributed in Spain and Chile

The great international response and a number of awards helped Cooking History, the successful documentary by Peter Kerekes, to be presented in Spanish distribution. The Documentary of the Month project, executed by the Parallel 40 company from Barcelona, is aiming to present extraordinary documentary films to a standard Spanish audience.

Cooking History is the film of March and is presented at over 40 theatres in 38 cities in Spain and Catalonia. The project also expanded to Chile, the film will be screened in three theatres in the capital Santiago de Chile.

Cooking History awarded at IFF Sofia

Cooking History was awarded at Sofia International Film Festival as the Best Documentary in the Documentary Competition section.

The program of the 14. edition of the festival was running during March 5 - 14, 2010 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The main aim of the festival is to bring significant and innovative films to the domestic audience and to bring local cinematography to an international audience, as well. The festival also supports co-operation between resident and international filmmakers.
