Po ukončení základnej vojenskej služby na západnej hranici sa rádioamatér Adam vracia na športové letisko, kde ho v auguste 1968 zastihne okupácia Československa. Po následných masívnych čistkách režimu chýbajú odborníci. Postupné vťahovanie do osídiel moci urobí z Adama profesionálneho agenta ŠtB. V snahe ochrániť svoju lásku Evu pred represiami, podpíše „zmluvu s diablom“. Jedného dňa zistí, že nielen on odpočúva pre nich, ale aj oni odpočúvajú jeho. Hľadanie odpovede na otázku prečo ho privádza k vlastnej minulosti. Dokáže so cťou prežiť v atmosfére strachu a neistoty?

After finishing the compulsory military service at the western border of Czechoslovakia, radio amateur Adam starts working at a sport airport, where he witnesses the occupation in August 1968. The massive Communist purges created a lack of experts and Adam eventually becomes
an agent of the Secret Service. To save the woman he loves from repressions, he signs a “deal with the devil“. One day he realizes that not only he is monitoring others, but he himself is being watched. As he searches for an answer as to why this is happening to him, he has to look into his own past. Will he be able to survive with honor in the atmosphere of fear and doubts?
