What's Slovak at the 36. Summer Film School Uherské Hradište?

Slovak cinema will be significally represented in the programme of the36. Summer Film School in Uherské Hradište (23. 7. - 1. 8. 2010), Czech Republic. Most of the films will be concentrated to the traditional Slovak Day taking place on July 27. 2010. During the Summer Film School there will be more than 40 Slovak films screened, the Annual Award of the Association of Czech Film Clubs for the Contribution to Czechoslovak Cinema will be granted to cinematographer Stanislav Szomolányi, a presentation of the monograph "Paľo Bielik and the Slovak film culture" and the topic of restoration of the archive Slovak films will be discussed during the seminar Digitalization from A to Z. Slovak films will be presented by authors and film theorists.
