The Border screened for Academy Members in Los Angeles
The Border (orig. Hranica) by Jaroslav Vojtek, the Slovak national nomination for the Best Foreign Language Film at the upcoming Academy Awards®, joined the European Film Promotion´s screenings of European Oscar Entries in Los Angeles. The screenings will take place at the Wilshire Screening Room in Beverly Hills, between November 3 -10 during the American Film Market (AFM), to give these entries maximum exposure during this decisive time in Los Angeles and also provide a platform for European films seeking US distribution.

European Film Promotion (EFP) will present 13 films from its member countries from across Europe that have been submitted for consideration as Best Foreign Language Film at the upcoming Academy Awards®. The screening series is supported by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the respective EFP member organisations. The project takes place for the second time, launched in 2009.
The participation of THE BORDER is supported by the Slovak Film Institute, member of EFP.
