Slovak Masterclass in Polish Torun

Martin Šulik, who is considered one of the most outstanding film directors from Slovakia will be a special guest to the 11th edition of Tofifest 2013 (21.10-27.10.2013).

During the film festival in Torun, the audience will have an opportunity to see the following films by Šulík: Working Class Heroes (2005) awarded by Slovak Film Award "Sun in net", the famous Gypsy (2012) which brought him the following awards, at the Karlovy Vary IFF: Special Prize of the Jury, Honorary Mention of the Actor, Don Quijote Award, and the Europa Cinemas Label, Landscape (2000), The Garden (1995) awarded a Special Prize of the Jury in Karlove Vary IFF , Everything I Like (1992), and Orbis Pictus (1997).

The Slovakian director will also conduct his own Masterclass "about his inspirations, thoughts and plans with the film directing. Lecture based on the shooting of Gypsy film."

The section Shortcut brings to the audience Slovak animated Pandas (2013) by Matúš Vizár. Pandas has recieved huge number of awards, the last is Grand Prix for the Best Short Film in IFF Warsawa 2013.
