Slovak films in the Program of Thessaloniki International Film Festival 2011
International Film Festival Thessaloniki presents three Slovak films in the official festival programme: The House (Dom, by Zuzana Liová, SK – CZ 2011) and Alois Nebel (by Tomáš Luňák, CZ – SK – DE, 2011) are included in the International Competition of the festival.
The Slovak national entry for the American Film Academy awards for the Best Foreign Language Film 2012 Gypsy (Cigán, by Martin Šulík, SK – CZ) is presented in the section Open Horizons.
All films will be presented in the presence of the respective directors.
For the first time, Slovak films are also present in the Agora Film Market, which this year opened also for the region of the Central and Eastern Europe.
