Slovak Films at 27th Warsaw International Film Festival 2011
Two Slovak films were selected for the programme of 27th Warsaw International Film Festival (October 7 – 16, 2011).The Czech director Tomáš Luňák's debut Alois Nebel, a film combining fiction and animation by the special technique rotoscoping, is included in the Official Selection – Competition of the Festival.
The latest film by Martin Šulík Gypsy , the Slovak 2012 national nomination for the Best Foreign Language Film – Oscars, will be presented in a Special Screening.
The Special Screening section will also include the Closing Ceremony Film from Cannes IFF - Beloved (by Christophe Honoré), which introduced two Slovak actress Zuzana Kronerová a Zuzana Onufráková.
