Silver Award for Stones at Damascus IFF
Slovak cinema was presented at the
18th edition of the IFF Damascus (November 7 - 13, 2010), as well.
The Slovak co-production film by Mira Fornay FOXES (CZ – SK – IE 2009) was included to the Official competition of feature films.
The Short Film Competition presented three Slovak productions:
STONES (dir. Katarína Kerekesová, SK 2010) – Silver Award
THANKS, FINE (dir. Matyás Prikler, SK 2010)
X = X + 1 (dir. Juraj Krasnohorský, SK 2009)
The International Jury of the Short Film Competition - Raymond Butros (director, Syria), Alice Kharoubi (Short Film Corner Cannes, France), Marzia Tedeschi (actress, Italy), Oliver Gicart (Mons IFF, Belgium) and Pernille Munk Skydsgaard (producer and PR expert, Denmark) presented the film Stones by Katarína Kerekesová with a Silver Award.
