Jihlava 2011 with Slovak participation

In the official programme of the festival - the Competition section Between the Seas, the new documentary by the Slovak director Andrea Slováková In Sight (2010). The film is author's graduation project. This year she represented Slovakia in the Documentary Jury of the Karlovy Vary IFF.
The Industry programme of the festival offers various possibilities of participation, Slovak projects will be presented at the 11th East European Forum, at the Doc Launch presentation and at the 8th East Silver market. The third, closing session of the Ex Oriente workshop with a Slovak participant will also take place during the festival. The students of Bratislava's VŠMU film school will be able to get to know the festival thanks to the IDF for Beginners programme.
The accompanying programme will also have a Slovak share: the Slovak photographer Martin Kollár will be a part of the 4th edtition of the Dark Room project and the Slovak film theorist and poet Mária Ferenčuhová will be reading her poetry in the festival café.
The presentation of Slovak cinema in the Industry programme of the Festival is organized by The Institute of Documentary Film Prague / East Silver, in cooperation with sentimental film, with the financial support of the Slovak Audiovisual Fund, in partnership with the Slovak Film Institute.
