The 21.Trieste Film Festival selected two successful Slovak documentaries.

Discussion Forum: Slovak Films Around the World will be held during Bratislava IFF 2009, on Dec 4th.

  Cooking History excels at Viennale
The successful documentary film by Peter Kerekes - Cooking History, awarded with the Golden Hugo at IFF Chicago in October 2009, achieved further success receiving the Main Prize for Documentary at Viennale 2009 – Vienna IFF (Oct. 22 – Nov 4, 2009).
  The Border and Arsy Versy awarded in Jihlava
The new documentary film THE BORDER by Jaro Vojtek, presented in its world premiere in the festival section Between the Seas, was awarded as the Best East European Documentary Film of 2009.
