  Forum on the promotion of upcoming Slovak films
Art Film Fest International Film Festival will host the pilot edition of the FORUM ON THE PROMOTION OF UPCOMING SLOVAK FILMS (June 23 - 24, 2011), an event aimed at supporting the promotion, co-production, festival presentation and sales of Slovak films on the international market.
  Four Slovak film projects selected for MIDPOINT 2011
For the second edition of the MIDPOINT program, with the first session taking place during Art Film Fest IFF, 16 projects were selected from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Austria and Myanmar (Burma).

  Slovak film treasures on DVD in France
Since October 2010, four DVDs with Slovak film classics are available at the French market. They present significant titles of the Slovak New Wave in the 60s. The DVDs will be presented at the Slovak Pavilion No. 103, Village International, Marché du Film during the 64th edition of the Cannes IFF.

Despite the problems and complications, with which the 42th Hungarian Film Week (Magyar Filmszemlé) had to struggle at the beginning of the year, the organizers succeed in sustaining the event and moreover, to present two Slovak projects.

  Slovak films in Dubrovnik
The 7th edition of the LI-BER-TAS Film Forum will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia during April 11 - 17, 2011. The festival focuses on independent productions, it presents the significant new films of world cinema and also each year it presents one national cinematography. This year it is Slovakia.
  Osadné at Disappearing Act III showcase in New York
The Czech Center New York, and the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, in collaboration with a large array of European cultural institutes and consulates, present Disappearing Act III - A Showcase of Current European Cinema in the recently opened digital cinema at Bohemian National Hall in Manhattan, April 6 to April 14.
  Slovak films at the Europe Beyond Europe Film Festival in Paris and Normandy
During March 15 - April 15 the films of Dušan Hanák and some of the new Slovak films will be screened within the 6th edition of the festival "Europe Beyond Europe".
