  Slovak National Nomination for the Oscars is Koza
The Slovak nomination for the Best Foreign Language Film of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts (AMPAS), also known as Oscar, is Koza by Ivan Ostrochovský.

The jubilee 10th edition of Film Festival Cinematik took place on Sept. 10 - 15 in Piešťany.
  Koza selected for EFA Selection 2015
European Film Academy selected Koza (d. Ivan Ostrochovský) for EFA Selection for 28th European Film Awards. Although the film was not the Slovak National Nomination EFA decided to include the film on this year’s selection list, the list of 52 films recommended for a nomination for the European Film Awards.

Czech and Slovak Film Festival Of Australia will be held from September 16 to 25, 2015 in Melbourne. The festival was established to showcase Slovak and Czech cinema in Australia, and its program aims to present the best works of both the traditional archive cinema and recent film production.

Two Slovak films - Eva Nová and Koza - were selected for Toronto International Film Festival which will be held between September 10 – 20, 2015. Moreover, Slovak film has the representative at Producers Lab Toronto 2015 for the first time.

Second Run releases Dragon´s Return as its fourth title of the Slovak classics series and presents it to the English-speaking audiences. Impressive Eduard Grečner's film is following the Second Run DVD titles of Slovak golden era Sun in a Net, Birds, Orphans and Fools and Pictures of the Old World.
  Slovak films are ready for Summer Film School Uherské Hradište!
Summer Film School Uherské Hradište starts on July 24 and will last until August 1. A number of Slovak titles will appear in the programme and get honour during the traditional Slovak day on Tuesday July 28, 2015.
