  Slovakia - guest country at MUCES!
The 11th edition of the MUCES - Segovia European Film Festival (Nov 16 – 22, 2016) kicks off featuring Slovak cinema retrospective! A selection of the most iconic titles in the history of Slovak cinematography includes films from the very beginning to the most contemporary ones.
  Two international premieres in Tallinn
The FF Black Nights Tallinn (Nov 11 -27, 2016) opens its 20th edition! The festival traditionally presents Slovak films and this year is not an exception. Slovak films The Red Captain by Michal Kollár and Little Feather by Lucia Klein Svoboda, Petr Klein Svoboda will be introduced here in the international premieres.
  A rich selection of Slovak films at Bratislava IFF
The 18th Bratislava International Film Festival (Nov 11 – 17, 2016) focuses on the city both as real and cinematic space, and brings on this topic a various film titles from all around the world. The festival does not leave behind the domestic titles as well, and prepares a colourful section Made in Slovakia.

  KısaKes – Cut it Short with special screening of Slovak shorts
KısaKes – Cut it Short (Sept 27 – 30, 2016) is a short film festival held in Istanbul open to all short film makers from all over the world which initiated to give priorly youngs the possibility to express themselves through art and to share those expressions among themselves and their environment under the common language of cinema. A selection of Slovak shorts will be screened within the programme of the festival as a special screening.
